On October 4th, 2025, we hosted our first walk audit along North Main Street and Moses Mill Road! It was immensely successful and highlighted accessibility gaps, which the city promptly responded to by extending a section of the sidewalk on Moses Mill Road.
We plan ot host many more audits of important corridors in Lexington and via different modes, including riding the Maury River Express bus as a group or biking as a group!
We are dedicated to getting as many voices to the "built environment table" as possible, and to do so, we have begun to attend and introduce ourselves at public meetings and collaborate with local organizations.
For example, on 2/5/26 and 2/9/26, two of the Local Conversation leaders formally introduced our group to the Lexington City Council and Rockbridge Board of Supervisors respectively.
